Welcome to the Colorado Designated Beneficiaries website. Thank you for taking time to learn about this important new law. The benefits of Designated Beneficiary Agreements will help many Coloradans for years to come.
Designated Beneficiary Agreements provide a new tool for estate planning, giving Coloradans access to a low-cost and convenient method for making plans for end-of-life decisions, inheritance, and other protections related to health care and medical emergencies. They provide the opportunity for two unmarried adults to designate one another as the person entitled to certain financial protections and decision-making powers in major life events.
On this site you will find information explaining what Designated Beneficiary Agreements are; who qualifies for them; a downloadable Designated Beneficiaries form; instructions about where and how to file; a copy of the law; and a list of frequently asked questions.
We also invite you to sign up to receive news from time to time about designated beneficiary agreements.
Thank you again for visiting this site and be sure to spread the word about Designated Beneficiaries and this website.
